Our goal and purpose is to maintain an enthusiastic, positive organization created to lend support to the University of Southern California Track and Field programs and enable them to continue to be a major force in National Collegiate Athletics.
We will coordinate our efforts through proper University channels and conduct ourselves in a manner that is socially responsible and that commands respect for its integrity and for its positive contributions to the University and its Track and Field Program. Our membership is open to all men and women alike without regard to ethnic origin or personal belief. We not only welcome Trojans, past and present but also friends and associates who take pride in the great history and tradition of U.S.C. Track and Field.
We encourage fellow Trojan Force members and other track enthusiasts to attend all U.S.C. home meets and the annual “Out of the Blocks” banquet which is of critical importance in engendering enthusiasm and financial support for our teams and allows us to personal view and to meet the admirable young men and women who represent our great university. Our members will strive to fulfill not only their annual financial membership obligation but to contribute time and energy whenever possible, as the vitality, involvement and teamwork of the Trojan Force is critical to its success in achieving its goals and fulfilling its mission.
The general purpose of this organization is the same as that which is outlined in the Trojan Force Mission and Goals. This organization shall not engage in any activities or exercise any powers that are not in furtherance of the purposes and goals of the organization. No part of the net earnings of this organization shall inure to the benefit of any of its directors officer or individuals. In the advent of the future dissolution of this organization, after paying or adequately providing for the debts, obligations, or liabilities of the organization, any remaining assets of this organization shall be distributed to the University of Southern California and Field program.
Members of the U.S.C, Track and Field Trojan Force are those who have contributed annual membership dues as outlined in its Application Form. The dues range from an annual amount of $100 to $ 1,000. A lifetime membership is granted for a one-time donation of $5,000 to an endowment fund. U.S.C. Track and Field athletes, who have competed for the University, are awarded an honorary five-year term membership of Trojan Force by its board of directors to encourage involvement and participation in the organization. Their normal dues contribution starts only after the five-year period from their date of graduation of completion of competition.
